Hosting the 2025 Asia Pacific Scout Jamboree

Korea Scout Association has won the bid to host the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree. The president of Korea Scout Association, Dr. Hahm Jong Han has officially announced on 18 October 2018 that Korea will be hosting the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree. It was decided during 26th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference. The Asia-Pacific Regional Conference is a triennial official gathering with 29 WOSM Member countries from the region. It was held during 2018 October 15th to 20th with the theme of “Growth and Stability”. Korea was elected as the host country for the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Jamboree to be held during 2025 after voting by member countries of Asia Pacific region. Dr. Hahm went on to say “After the 25th World Scout Jamboree in 2023, we will be hosting Asia Pacific Regional Jamboree and this will lead Korea to become Hub of World Scouting. Also, KSA will look at this opportunity to leap forward to open a new beginning”. He then promised to provide quality trainings and programs for young scouts and leader in all levels of scouting.
