SaeManGeum, Korea2023 25the World Scout Jamboree jamboree Scout Mondial

Jeonbuk Province and Korea Scout Association held a ‘one-year anniversary event’ on the 16th to celebrate the first anniversary of the 25th World Scout Jamboree bid. Kim Hong Sung, who is a Korea Broadcasting Station’s renowned announcer, who is also a scout was the master of the ceremony.

To Celebrate the event the governor of Jeonbuk Provin Song Ha Jin, President of Korea Scout Association Dr.Hahm Jong Han, Director of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Policy for the Young People Lee Ki Soon, Director of SaeManGeum Development Agency Lee Chul Soon, Vice Chairman of Jeonbuk Provicn Council Representative Han Wan Soon,14 municipal mayors, municipal governors, Korean Scout Association officials have attended. Kim Sung Chan, Kim Seong Tae, who played a major role in attracting the Jamboree, and Kim Jong Il, member of Korea Scout Association, were awarded with honorary recognition. They were also honored with lifetime Scout membership card including vice chairman of the Parliament Jeonbuk Province. In addition, Korean Scout Association acknowledged Governor Song Ha Jin for his commitment and enthusiasm towards 25th World Scout Jamboree, and awarded the Korea Scout Association’s "Mugunghwa Gold Award", the highest recognition among Scouts in Korea.
