Jamboree Continues in Eight Cities and Provinces Nationwide

□ The government and the World Jamboree OrganizingCommittee announced that the Scouts who have been movedto accommodations in Seoul and seven other cities andprovinces as Typhoon Khanun approached will continue theirJamboree journey by participating in cultural and hands-onexperience programs in each of the different locations fromtoday.□ Programs for diverse hands-on experiences linked to K-culture,the natural environment and on-site visits to cutting-edgeindustries have now been prepared, and these programs willbe operated in a manner that maximizes the Jamboree spiritof new experiences, adventures and exchanges.○ In Seoul, from today (Aug. 9) to Sunday (Aug. 13), a“Jamboree Community Plaza” will be up and running inSeoul Plaza by City Hall to allow the Scouts staying in thecapital to continue their exchanges.○ From 19:00 p.m, “Dance Night at the Hangang” will be held atthe Mulbit Square stage in Yeouido Hangang Park withvarious programs such as deejaying, breakdancing and K-popperformances.○ At Daecheon Beach in Chungcheongnam-do, there will be a“Mud Mob-scene” festival where visitors can cool off from thescorching heat while being sprayed with water as they play intidal-flat mud.
