About the Jamboree
World Scout Jamboree
Organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, the World Scout Jamboree is the world's largest youth camp held every four years. Tens of thousands of young people and leaders from 170 countries share culture, experience, and friendship and put a concrete global citizenship into practice. Korea won a bid for the 25th World Scout Jamboree at the 41st World Scout Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan in August 2017.
Date & Location of the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Saeangeum
In Saemangeum, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, the 25th World Scout Jamboree is slated for August 1-12, 2023.
We accept 14- to 17-year-old Scouts—who were born between July 22, 2005 and July 31, 2009. Adults are entitled to join the Jamboree as scoutmasters or event staff.

- The 8.84-square kilometer campsite in the Saemangeum Reclaimed Area will become an enlivening space where Scouts from across the globe can do everything on their own.
Jamboree Site - SaeManGeum
The 25th World Scout Jamboree will take place at a newly built campground in Saemangeum, Jeollabuk-do, encompassing8.8 square kilometers.. The largest section is 6.1 kilometers wide and 1.8 kilometers long. Stretching beside the West Coast near Byeonsanbando National Park, the huge Jamboree campground (35’42”N 126’35”E) is endowed with rich natural surroundings—one side of the venue adjoins the ocean.(35’42”N 126’35”E)
